The Simpons: Tapped Out has shoveled in over $100 million in lifetime revenue for EA, according to the publisher’s Q2 2014 financial reports.
The licenced title was pulled shortly after launch in 2012, but re-launched in August of that year and has remained a top performer ever since.
Tapped Out has been in the top 20 grossing games for iPhone for all but 12 days of its 14-month lifespan.
Mobile earnings for Q2 were down from last quarter but matched the earnings from the same period last year, pulling in $75 million.
EA names some other titles as top performers, noting that Plants vs. Zombies 2 has amassed 25 million downloads since launch to beat the lifetime sales of its predecessor.
Real Racing 2 is also doing well, continuing to grow in revenue and boasts 18 million monthly active users from 70 million lifetime downloads.
