The Crew also in development for Xbox 360

Ubisoft has tasked a separate developer to create a version of upcoming racer The Crew for Xbox 360.

The previously announced PS4, Xbox One and PC version is being developed by Ivory Tower and Ubisoft Reflection but this new last-gen version is being created by Asobo Studio with support from the teams at Ivory Tower, Ubisoft Reflections and Ubisoft Shanghai”.

How closely the Xbox 360 SKU will mirror the next-gen release has not yet been detailed.

It’s Ubisoft’s objective to continue to meet the needs of consumers who have not yet made the move to the new console generation,” Ubisoft’s senior vice president of sales and marketing Geoffroy Sardin said.

The Crew was originally built for the new generation of consoles, but we have always had a desire to make it accessible to as many people as possible. We’re excited to bring The Crew’s same core features, massive scope, mission variety, and overall driving experience to Xbox 360 players.”

There’s no mention of a PS3 SKU. Or a Wii U version, shockingly.
