Remo calls Broken Age developer 'best place I ever worked'

The Cave co-writer Chris Remo leaves Double Fine for Campo Santo

Double Fine community manager Chris Remo has left the studio to join new developer Campo Santo.

Announcing the news on Twitter, Remo said he was sad to be leaving the studio as it was "the best place I ever worked".

Remo joined Double Fine in 2012, working as community manager, writer, web developer and composer. He co-wrote The Cave with Ron Gilbert and composed the score for Spacebase DF-9.

"For those asking: I’ve left Double Fine – best place I ever worked. Sad to leave my friends there, but excited to join friends at @CampoSanto," he tweeted.

As well as working at the Broken Age developer, he was also previously employed at Irrational Games and worked as an independent composer on titles including Gone Home and Drawn to Life.

His new studio, Campo Santo, was set up by September last year in San Francisco by Mark of the Ninja lead designer Nels Anderson, former Walking Dead creative director Jake Rodkin, Telltale designer Sean Vanaman and ex-LucasFilm artist Olly Moss.
