Square Enix has revealed that indie developer Camouflaj will be the first participant in its new cloud gaming platform, Shinra Technologies.

The platform will run a prototype accelerator to aid developers with new games designer around cloud computing technology, according to GameSpot

Camouflaj, best known for Republique, will be the first to take advantage of this, giving them access to the power of Shinra’s multiple servers, resources for better physics and greater graphics.

Jacob Navok, SVP of Shinra, says the initiative is "aimed at teams with established track records of quality game production that are interested in doing something ambitious and new, and have been frustrated by their ability to create games based on the limits of current technology".
