Focus Home Interactive has nailed down the first official details for The Technomancer.
The post-apocalyptic RPG, which is set on Mars, is being developed by Bound By Flame’s studio Spiders. Players take on the role of a Technomancer on the run from the secret police. Much of the action revolves around various tribes and takes place in shanties.
Many of the usual RPG trappings are present and correct, including techtrees, dynamic conversation dialogue that can alter in-game events and multiple endings (five, specifically). There are also three different fighting styles and a dynamic weapon and armour crafting system.
Players will also be able to manage the inventories and levelling of their companions, as well as tune and guide their own character’s cybernetically enhanced magical abilities.
Being cyberpunk themed, Focus will likely hope it doesn’t clash with CD Projekt’s Cyberpunk 2077, which is still without a release date. As it stands, The Technomancer is due out on PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2016.
