China-based ad network Mobvista has announced it has acquired European services firm GameAnalytics.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed but it will enable Mobvista to reach more clients around the world, as well as help developers using the platform to better understand player behaviour and how they can be monetised through mobile ads.
GameAnalytics is already used by multiple leading mobile developers, including Hipster Whale, PopCap Games, Flaregames and Illusion Labs. Following the acquisition it will continue to operate as an independent company.
The acquisition continues Mobvista’s ongoing global expansion, which included the purchase of US mobile ad tech firm NativeX back in March.
“Acquiring GameAnalytics in Europe, like NativeX in the US, is helping us to rapidly develop a multi-dimensional, global ecosystem of mobile traffic,” said Mobvista founder and CEO Robin Duan.
“We’re confident that GameAnalytics’ best-in-class technology and 20,000-strong developer community will increase our mobile marketing solution’s effectiveness to the benefit of both the supply and demand sides.”
