Speakers invited to step up for August event - deadline is April 30th

GCDC puts out call for papers

Organisers of the Game Convention Developers Conference in Leipzig have put out a call for speakers looking to participate in this year’s event.

Prospective speakers have until April 30th to throw their hat in the ring – its hoped that ‘prominent members of the games, IT, and movie industries’ will submit speaking proposals ‘covering market insights, overviews, trends and introductions of new technologies as well as real world development knowledge’.

GCDC takes place as the Leipziger Messe in Germany from August 18th to 20th.

The main topics of this year’s event are online games, casual games, and the latest server technologies.

"Next to developers from Europe, we have addressed developers in North America. The new GCDC program will also address topics and trends of the Asian game industry," said Frank Sliwka, project director of GCDC and GC Asia Conference (GCAC).
