Game Convention Asia extends call for speakers

There’s still time for developers and industry figures to submit speaking proposals for keynotes, lectures and panels at the upcoming Game Convention Asia conference.

The group’s organisers, LMI Asia, has extended its call for papers deadline to May 30 to “ensure the conference presents the most relevant topics related to the current business environment”.

The event, taking place in Singapore from September 17-18, will be offering around 50 lectures and panel sessions under the broader topic of “Emerging Markets for New Players”.

The three main tracks of the conference are:

• Art/Design
• Business
• Development & Production.

LMI Asia also says that topics such as online gaming, co-productions, micro-transactions, financing, and the emergence of browser and iPhone games will be discussed.
