EA will soon rebrand its Redwood Shores studio to a new, as yet unannounced, brand that will better position the team.
According to a report on Variety, Glenn Schofield, head of EA Redwood Shores, wants to "to establish Redwood Shores, both to gamers and potential employees, as a place known for creativity, originality, and high quality third person action adventure titles". The team’s horror title Dead Space is out next month.
"That’s why we’re looking to brand the studio," he explained. "That’s what I’m doing right now. It’s going through legal."
Although the exact name of the new team is not yet known, it would make sense the new identity is revealed as part of Dead Space’s launch.
