Stonehearth developer Radiant Entertainment has raised $4.5m in funding.
As reported by The Wall Street Journal, the investment comes from Andreessen Horowitz, General Catalyst and London Venture Partners. For the latter, it’s the first time the VC firm has funded a US start-up.
Radiant Entertainment was founded by twins Tom and Tony Cannon. Its first project is PC game Stonehearth, which raised some $751,920 on Kickstarter in 2013.
The campaign initially had a target of $120,000, and was funded in three days. Stonehearth was released on Steam Early Access earlier this month and has so far garnered mostly positive reviews from players.
