Sony will dramatically slash the cost of PSP development kits by 80 per cent.
Speaking at the company’s E3 conference in Los Angeles, Sony Computer Entertainment CEO Kaz Hirai spoke of Sony’s ambition to attract new developers and more titles for the PSP systems.
He said that the extraordinary price cut will “allow more developers, as well as individuals, to put even more great content on PSP.”
No date was set for the price cut, though it is expected to commence shortly.
