God of War developer Sony Santa Monica is set to move into a large new office this summer.
As reported by Variety, the new studio is based at the Jefferson Boulevard in Playa Vista, LA, away from its roots in Santa Monica.
The office will offer 85,000 square feet of space, and is said to be four to five times larger than the current studio.
The new office will house its own motion capture studio, an improved sound bay and will add more conference rooms.
Sony Santa Monica currently houses 240 staff, but with such a large new office it could be set to expand its operations.
The studio is currently working on titles such as Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, Hohokrum, flOw and Flower for the PS4.
It is not currently clear if the studio will change its name, given it has moved away from Santa Monica.
