3D recognition platform developer in â??top three ICT companiesâ??Belgium-based Softkinetic has been recognised as one of the best three overall companies by Europe Unlimited’s European Venture Summit.
The studio's iisu 3D recognition software for use in application such as games that use motion-sensing cameras.
“Softkinetic was evaluated twice to be amongst the top three ICT companies in the past nine months,” said William Stevens, CEO of Europe Unlimited. “In March 2008 at the Benelux Venture Forum where 50 high-tech Benelux companies competed and now on December 1, 2008 at the European Venture Summit where it was selected in the top three amongst 50 of the best IC technology companies from across Europe. We heard great feedback from investors on the company and its technology.”
Europe Unlimited formed ten years ago to provide resources to technology entrepreneurs, corporations, investors and researches, and subsequently the European Venture Summit was conceived to increase the presence of European start-ups in the sector.
