Washington-based studio joins Monolith and Traveller's Tales in Hollywood giant's stable

Snowblind bought by Warner

Washington-based developer Snowblind has been bought by Warner Bros. Interactive, Variety reports.

The studio, which made the recent Justice League Heroes for the publisher in addition to several Everquest titles for Sony Online Entertainment, is based in Bothell, WA – just seven miles from fellow WBIE studio Monolith, which actually holds many of the publisher’s staff as well.

Snowblind is the third studio to enter the WB ranks – it bought Monolith back in 2005, integrating many of the studio’s execs into key roles – and purchased UK-based Traveller’s Tales last year.

Snowblind is currently working on Death Tank for XBLA, but no further projects have been announced.
