September Develop Quiz almost sold out

Places at this September’s Develop Quiz are almost all sold out.

In the past day a number of new teams have signed up for the event, which kicks off in just a few weeks. The Creative Assembly and Side are the newest entrants.

The Wednesday September 14th meeting of minds will bring together teams from across the industry to the Sway Bar in Holborn, London. On the night, entrants will have the chance to flaunt their brainpower through several question rounds on subjects ranging from games to science.

At the end of the night, the first placed team will take home the Develop Quiz trophy, as well as £2,000 in advertising credit in Develop and champagne for each member.

15 teams are already polishing up on their knowledge. There’s entrants from Bossa Studios, Curve Studios, Datascope, Peppermint PR, Splash Damage, Universally Speaking, Wave Studios, Spilt Milk Studios, Media Molecule, Rocksteady Games, Indigo Pearl, Future Games of London and the new challengers from Side and The Creative Assembly.

Second place wins lunch and an interview with the Develop team, as well as champagne for each member. Third place takes champagne for each member.

Earlier in the year UK powerhouse Jagex emerged as Develop Quiz winners, taking home £2,000 in Develop Advert Space as well as the treasured Develop Quiz trophy, and a Qualcomm dual-core Snapdragon mobile development platform (worth over $1,300) as provided by the May event’s sponsors Qualcomm.
