Publisher doesn't count out the franchise after Team Bondi closure

Rockstar considers L.A. Noire sequel

Rockstar Games may plan to follow the success of L.A. Noire with a sequel.

Despite the closure of the developer Team Bondi following allegations of employee mismanagement, the franchise could see a follow up in the future.

"We’re all very pleased with how that game turned out and are considering what the future may hold for L.A. Noire as a series." wrote a Rockstar spokesperson on the company website.

L.A. Noire released last year, and recieved a great deal of attention from press and consumers alike, but accusations of brutal work conditions at Team Bondi as the game neared completion drew enough negative press that administrators decided to close the studio.

Rockstar is currently developing a fifth Grand Theft Auto game, and a second sequel to Max Payne.
