Art outsourcing specialist Rocketbox has made available two new asset libraries focusing on character models and animations.
The first of the new libraries, the character art collection, extends the firm’s Complete Characters HD series, with a particular focus on military characters.
the second available library, which delivers an animation package consisting of a large set of moves for combat situations, is usable with all of Rocketbox’s established HD characters from across its range of prefabbed assets.
All the character models feature customisable textures and mesh attachments, with the former presented as layered .psd files that can be freely adapted, and that include different variations for each military uniform.
All the characters in the new library are delivered pre-rigged, and are ready for integration in developers’ projects. Each is optimised for use in established realtime engines. The characters also include a number of level-of-detail meshes (LODs), down to 500 triangles for the lowest LOD.
