Riot returns to England with a new branch
Riot Games is opening a new office in London, a little over a year after they closed their last UK branch, in Brighton. back in March 2016.
Riot's nearest location is the regional headquarters in Dublin, but Mark Cox, the head of UK publishing, has said on Riot's official forums that they'll be opening a new London office with the office's primary objective being to "grow the player base."
"With more players comes a more vibrant and active community," he said in response to questions from the community.
"I am not saying you are all not passionate and mad about LoL but think about the possibilities with more players and more active community members. We can do more great things and have more people taking part."
"Growing the player base allows us to communicate more effectively with you all and enable as many core PC players as possible to jump in and trial the game through communications and activities outside of the client and in game."
Cox was previously based in Australia, and has relocated himself to help oversee the creation of the new office.
