Broken Sword developer Revolution Software has become the latest studio to join Tiga, the UK trade association has announced.
“Over the years many developers have been inspired by the games created by Charles Cecil’s Revolution Software,” said Tiga CEO Richard Wilson.
“We are proud to welcome Revolution Software as a TIGA member and we look forward to working with the company to help make the UK the best place in the world to do games business.”
Revolution boss Charles Cecil added that he felt it was important for UK developers to have a trade association to champion their interests in political circles and to support its move to self-publishing.
Cecil was awarded the status of industry legend by Develop in 2006, and in 2011 he was appointed a Member of the Order of The British Empire (MBE) for his services to the computer games industry.
