Matias Myllyrinne heading to Wargaming

Remedy CEO quits

The CEO of Quantum Break developer Remedy Entertainment has left after 15 years with the company.

Upon the announcement, Matias Myllyrinne said on Twitter that it was “time to leave for a new adventure” and thanked followers for their support. In a statement on the studio’s website, he said the studio was in good standing and hoped it would “go on to great things”.

Speaking to GamesIndustry, Myllyrinne revealed he would be joining World of Tanks developer Wargaming in an executive role. His exact job title will announced in the next few weeks.

“I love Helsinki and it will always be my home, but a change of scenery felt welcome,” he said.

“I’ve lived around the world as a kid, and this has been the longest I have been in any one place. Cyprus, Wargaming’s HQ, seems like a warm and welcoming place."
