GungHo’s hit title making average revenues per user of $11.89

Puzzle & Dragons generates 10x the ARPU of Clash of Clans

Mobile sensation Puzzle & Dragons is generating nearly ten times more average revenue per user than Supercell’s Clash of Clans.

According to a report from SuperData, ARPU for GungHo’s flagship title is $11.89. The closest title to that is Big Fish Casino, which brings in an average revenue of $2.07 per user.

Clash of Clans meanwhile makes around $1.31 per user, nearly three times more than its other mobile hit, Hay Day.

Backflip’s Dragonvale meanwhile makes $1.07 and Mobage’s Rage of Bahamut generates $1.04 on average per user. All other games listed make an average revenue of less than $1 per user.

SuperData claimed that casual audiences on social and mobile spent significantly less in April compared to March. Overall the mobile market declined by six per cent month-over-month.

You can view a table of the ARPU for popular mobile games for the year ending March 2014 below. It should be noted these are not the top ten revenue generators in mobile worldwide.
