Localisation specalist will 'insource' to start and later provide more outsourced services to the Canadian games market
Localisation and quality assurance company Pole to Win International (PTWI) has announced another international expansion. This time, the company is opening up offices in Canada.
The company, which is based in the UK, has several offices around the globe that provides localisation services. It already has some in the North America region to with SIDE LA in Los Angeles and local offices in San Francisco, Seattle and Austin. Now, however, the company is going further north.
Pole to Win Canada will initially focus on 'insourcing' for the local Canadian games market, basing the office in Montreal, Quebec. The Quebec area is the largest game development area in the country. Eventually, the office will begin to offer more outsourcing and QA services and its core 'customer experience' services too, but for now, is focusing on localisation.
“This has been a timely and strategic decision for Pole To Win," said PTWI senior VP of sales and marketing, Becky Walker. "As well as being co-located in close proximity to our growing Canadian client base, PTW Canada positions the company at the epicenter of Montreal’s exciting and innovative games and technology sectors. Additionally, our presence in Canada will also serve to support and enhance services provided to the North American market."
