New firm headed up by veteran marketeer

PlayReplay is a newly established marketing company focused solely on promoting digitally distributed games across platforms such as iPhone, PC and WiiWare.

In the wake of opening its doors PlayReplay has confirmed the appointment of veteran marketeer Oliver Birch as its director.

“Developers and publishers are fast realising that digital platforms require a new marketing approach. The digital shelf is infinite and there is an incredible amount of noise to cut through, when influencing a customer's online purchasing decision. The challenge is to initiate and maintain visibility for any game" said Birch.
 
“We undertake an agile online marketing approach to promote a product, which continually connects and engages with the gaming community. This allows us to react to the important feedback provided by the gamers themselves and design communication strategies that gain maximum impact and effect,” he added.
