Mobile devs using Corona SDK can now manage their titles using PlayHaven tools
A new partnership between Corona Labs and PlayHaven will give users of the Corona SDK access to the latter’s suite of mobile game development tools.
Game developers using Corona can now integrate PlayHaven’s end-to-end acquisition, engagement and monetisation software into Corona SDK-built apps to manage users at every point in their lifecycle.
The Corona SDK aims to simplify the development process by empowering developers to develop apps ten times faster and publish to multiple app markets with a single code base.
Now with the PlayHaven plug-in, Corona developers can create highly targeted and effective marketing campaigns with PlayHaven’s suite of tools to manage player acquisition, engagement and monetisation – all from one web dashboard. The free PlayHaven plugin is available for iOS and Android games and can be implemented with just a few lines of code.
“As app stores become increasingly competitive, it’s our mission to give developers the tools they need to build a sustainable business while also giving them the freedom to access our business engine in whichever development environment they choose,” says Charles Yim, COO of PlayHaven.
“We look forward to working with Corona’s community of developers, and arming them with tools to acquire, engage and monetise players both in and out of their game.”
“PlayHaven offers game developers a comprehensive toolset to improve app marketing and generate more revenue,” says David Rangel, COO of Corona Labs.
“We’re excited to offer our developers more choices in app monetization and marketing services as we continue to make Corona the best tool for app creation.”
PlayHaven is the latest addition to the expanding Corona Plugin family. Announced in May 2013, Corona Plugin partners enable developers to integrate third party services into Corona-powered apps. Recent Corona Plugin partners included SponsorPay, Fortumo, Vungle, Inneractive, Photon Cloud, Green Throttle and Carrot.
