Musika available now on the iTunes store

Matsuya Matsuura, creator of the hit PlayStation music games Parappa the Rapper and Vib Ribbon, has developed a game for fifth-generation iPods.

Musika is described as part game part visualizer, tasking players to hit the iPod's centre button when a letter flies past that is part of the song's title.

"The iPod is a device that revolutionized music and it is now poised to be a progressive gaming platform," said Masaya Matsuura, president of NanaOn-Sha.

"Many years ago Apple's tools first opened my eyes to the power of music and multimedia, so it's exciting to release my first game for this device."
