Early bird discount for London's free-to-play event ends tomorrow

One day left for F2P Summit early bird discounts

Early bird discount rates for this spring’s F2P Summit end tomorrow.

Those who book for the conference and networking event before the end of Wednesday, March 20th will save £100.

“The free-to-play model continues to go from strength to strength and is reckoned to account for more than half of the European games market. And with more game dev studios adopting this model, there’s greater competition than ever before,” commented Andy Lane, managing director of organiser Tandem Events.

“The F2P Summit is an excellent opportunity for developers to get up to speed on the latest design techniques, and stay ahead of the latest commercial strategies and technologies in this field. We’ve got case studies of successful games, plus experts sharing practical advice and of course it’s the perfect place to meet other developers and share experiences.”

The programme for F2P Summit is as follows:

OPENING KEYNOTE: Learnings from Curiosity to Godus; Peter Molyneux, 22cans

Back to Basics: What it Takes to Market a Successful Game in the Free-to-Play Era; Chris Hanage, PapayaMobile

Juggling Digital Bricks; Mike Hawkyard, 4T2 Multimedia

The Lies We Tell– How ‘AA’-Publishers And Developers Are Killing Each Other; Florian Schwarzer, InnoGames

Design For The Rhythm Of Play: Using Rhythm and Uncertainty to Create Compelling F2P Games; Oscar Clark, Everyplay

Morality in a Big Data, Frictionless Payment, Free-to-Play Mobile Gaming World; Jon Jordan, PocketGamer.biz

The Future of Mobile Game Marketing and Monetization; Pepe Agell, Chartboost

Panel: Discussing F2P and its Future; Chair: Will Freeman, Develop Magazine

Panellists: Chris Hanage, PapayaMobile; Ian Harper, Future Games of London; Imre Jele, Bossa Studios; Ville Heijari, PlayHaven

The F2P Summit offers nine sessions including an opening keynote plus networking throughout the day and at the networking drinks afterwards.

F2P Summit is organised by Tandem Events. Passes to the third F2P Summit in London can be purchased from www.f2p-summit.com for just £195 (a saving of £100).
