Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang and Oddworld's Lorne Lanning to appear at event

The keynote line-up for Nvidia's NVISION 'visual computing conference' has grown as the event draws nearer.

Opening the conference on Monday August 25th, Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang will discuss innovation in the visual computing field, highlighting work done by designers, researchers and scientists. Joining Huang for the talk will be Jeff Han, inventor of the multi-touch display, and (as previously announced) Battlestar Galactica star Tricia Helfer, who will discuss how visual computing has affected the television and film industry.

Tuesday's proceedings will be opened by technology and business reporter Scott Budman, who will do one-to-one interviews with various industry personnel - including Bernard Charlès, CEO of Virtools developer Dassault Systèmes, Oddworld's Lorne Lanning and Eileen Collins, former NASA space shuttle commander.

Finally, Wednesday's events will be closed with a 'unique performance' of special effects experts Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage, stars of TV series Mythbusters.

Also appearing at the event will be astronaut Buzz Aldrin, who will be presenting the world premier of his new 3D film, Fly Me To The Moon.

NVISION 08 takes place between August 25th and 27th in San Jose, California. For more information, check out the official website.
