Nintendo has revealed it is boosting the amount of internal development support for its Wii console – while also scaling back production teams for DS titles.
During a Q&A with investors Nintendo’s senior managing director Jinyou Mori announced at a Tokyo press conference that the firm was enlarging its Wii development teams.
Nintendo also said it was producing 1.8m Wii machines a month to satisfy and try to keep up with demand. Gamefront added that Nintendo is looking at increasing its production capacity, but may not confirm such a move until the close of its financial year in April.
