Scottish studio looking to grow over 25 per cent in the next six months

Ninja Kiwi Europe begins ambitious expansion plan

The Scottish developer behind Bloons, Bloons TD and SAS: Zombie Assault has announced ambitious expansion plans for its studio.

Ninja Kiwi Europe aims to grow by over 25 per cent within the next six months with a major focus on growing its senior programming team.

Originally named Digital Goldfish, the company started off life in 2005 as an independent games development studio, formed in order to create original content for mobile platforms.

The company was acquired in 2012 by New Zealand based Ninja Kiwi, and Ninja Kiwi Europe was formed.
Located in Dundee, Scotland, Ninja Kiwi aims to provide only the highest quality games across web, Facebook and smart devices.

The company now has major growth plans underway and is looking to add at least an additional 25 per cent to it staff within the next six months.

The company is specifically looking to add to its senior programming team as the business expects to grow its development portfolio and invest in its flagship brands and new IP development.

As part of its grow plan, Ninja Kiwi Europe has appointed award-winning recruiter Specialmove to manage recruitment for the studio.

“The last eight years has seen the company go from strength to strength. We have an incredibly talented team here in Dundee and our acquisition in 2012 has only but added to the strength of the studio,” said Ninja Kiwi Europe’s director of UK operations David Hamilton.

“Our games have been huge commercial successes and we want to capitalise on these, expand our development capabilities and grow our programming team. We have a fantastic future ahead backed by a solid portfolio in development. If you want to be part of a company on the up, then look no further than Ninja Kiwi.”
