New conference billed as 'first ever pan-European games industry conference for women'

New ‘Women In Games Jobs’ event emerges

A new event targeted to encourage more female game developers is set to take place in London this September.

The ‘Women In Games Jobs’ event comes a year after the annual ‘Women in Games’ event was cancelled due to limited demand. The two organisations are not linked, a spokesperson for Women In Games Jobs said.

The new event is backed by an advisory board of top female executives working in the games industry, featuring the likes of Sony Computer Entertainment’s Ali Bergstrom-Allen, Ubisoft Reflections general manager Giselle Stewart and Lionhead’s Fable boss Louise Murray.
