New surge of speakers as Develop Conference fills

Growing list of confirmed lectures, keynotes and panel discussions

A string of new industry professionals have added to the list speakers at the upcoming Develop Conference in Brighton.

The major industry event, now in its fifth year, will host lectures from a number of major international and UK companies.

Newly-announced speakers include SCEE’s Chris Bruce (who will explore issues surrounding DLC), Relentless Software’s Andrew Eades (discussing episodic gaming), as well as John Dennis of Team 17 (discussing ways developers can manage risk).

Jason Avent of Disney Black Rock Studio will also be at the event to examine ways of increasing productivity at a development studio.

This year’s Develop Conference saw a record number of industry professionals submit speaker and keynote proposals for the key developer event.

The fifth annual Develop conference in Brighton – taking place Jul 13-15 – already boasts a growing list of attending industry professionals, from Peter Molyneux, Black Rock’s Jason Avent, EA DICE’s Ben Minto, Microsoft’s Ben Board and SCEE’s Garry Taylor.

Activision director of central audio and talent, Adam Levenson, was recently announced as the latest keynote speaker for the upcoming event.

Limited early bird discounts for the key developer event are up for grabs until June 7. Single, two and three-day passes are available, as are passes for the Audio Track and for students.

Over 80 sessions will feature across eight tracks covering all areas of modern video games development.
