Spinor's latest update adds new shader editor and 'Live-Live' manipulationGerman middleware firm Spinor has announced the latest version of its Shark 3D engine.
The update brings two new features to the package: the Shark 3D Re-entrant Modular Shader System, which exposes non-local rendering techniques in a visual manner suited to artists.
The Shark 3D Game Editor has also been updated to feature 'Live-Live' manipulation, which is live editing to the rest of us. It means that geometry, textures, scripts and shaders can be edited in external or internal programs and viewed instantly on PCs and target consoles.
"Shark 3D is breaking new ground in visual editing and rapid tool customization", said Folker Schamel, CEO of Spinor.
