Exit Gamesâ?? online multiplayer SDK now works with Googleâ??s mobile platform

Neutron now Android-compatible

Exit Games today announced that its online multiplayer gaming platform Neutron now supports the open-source Android mobile platform.

Neutron offers game developers the opportunity to easily add online social gaming features to titles produced for Android, which allows for the distribution of new mobile content.

Downloading the Neutron SDK means developers can add features to their games such as real-time multiplayer, in-game text chat, leaderboards, matchmaking and microtransactions, as well as providing for cross-platform capabilities between personal computers, Android, iPhones, other mobile devices and games consoles.

“Neutron has become the standard third-party platform for online and mobile game developers looking to integrate multiplayer and community features into their next title,” said Christof Wegmann, CTO of Exit Games.

“It was natural that we added Android support as the platform gains steam in the global mobile markets and recognition by developers and publishers as a convenient way to reach a continuously growing user base.”
