Latest iteration includes new full body inverse kinematics solution and 3D Scatter Blend
NaturalMotion has released the new version of its animation systems, Morpheme 6 and Morpheme 6 with Euphoria.
The new update introduces a distributed full body inverse kinematics tool that helps enable designers to simulate character kinematics such as looking, reaching and navigating uneven terrain.
Morpheme 6 also includes the addition of a 3D Scatter Blend, allowing authored animations to be parameterised and blended in three dimensions, extended search capabilities to locate characters, networks and nodes, a richer node library and new Euphoria behaviours such as sit and flinch.
Morpheme 6 and Morpheme 6 with Euphoria can be used for platforms such as Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3, Vita, Wii U, and PC. The tech is also integrated with Nvidia PhysX, Havok, Physics, Unreal Engine 3 and UE4.
