A fuller speaker list has been revealed for the upcoming Evolve conference in London.
The one day London-based event, which looks at the social and casual sector, will include lectures from the likes of Playfish, Ngmoco, Microsoft Research, Ustwo, Team 17, Hand Circus and Wonderland Software.
“With innovation in gaming speeding up and social gaming and internet connectivity having evolved from fringe to mainstream in barely a AAA development cycle, the future of social and digitally distributed gaming is at the forefront of this year’s conference,“ said Andy Lane, MD at event organiser Tandem.
Ngmoco’s keynote will have the developer’s CEO Neil Young explore what the group has learned in the social gaming space.
Playfish general manger Kristian Segerstrale will present a seminar titled Social Gaming: After the Revolution, in which he will offer insight into why the emerging social games market is already at a crossroads.
The Playfish founder is also set to share his opinions on the evolution of social games, look at what is driving this evolution, and confirm his opinions why it’s not too late to get involved in the sector.
Team 17’s widely respected boss Martyn Brown will also speak at the event with a focus on digital.
Evolve, which has previously existed as a popular track at the Develop in Brighton conference, is for the first time to take place as a stand-alone event in London on Wednesday, December 8th 2010.
