Momentum for the Spanish Gamelab show is building as the organisers announced the winner of its games development lifetime achievement award.
Hironobu Sakaguchi, who designed the first entry into the long-standing Final Fantasy series on the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1987, will also be on hand to discuss his career in the games industry.
As well as working on numerous Final Fantasy titles, Sakaguchi also founded his own studio in 2001 called Mistwalker, which has worked on games such as Lost Odyssey and The Last Story.
The Spanish Gamelab conference brings together games industry professionals from around the world to discuss the latest advances in the sector, with a focus on all platforms including console, mobile and tablets.
200 Spanish companies are expected to be present, whilst more than 3,000 attendees are expected at the main conference.
Develop will also be attending the event to keep up with all the latest news. If you would like to arrange a meeting or get in contact about opportunities for our upcoming region focus on Spain, contact our sales manager at Alex.Boucher@intentmedia.co.uk.
