Speculation continues that this year's blockbuster is being built at three Activision studios

Kotaku has landed a major scoop in obtaining a huge gallery of images and plot details about the yet-to-be announced title.

Infinity Ward, Raven Software and Sledgehammer are all co-developing the title.

Starting with a supposed release date for November 8th, the site goes on to reveal that the game will take place in a dozen cities around the world including London, New York, Paris and Berlin as well as countries including Dubai and Somalia.

It begins at the moment Modern Warfare 2 finishes, with the US coping with the surprise Russian attack. A detailed plot analysis can be found on Kotaku.

Its structure will resemble its predecessors complete with vehicle sections and will clarify some loose strings relating to a number of key characters from the game. It will also introduce two new faces to the franchise – Frost and Sandman.

Multiplayer will be boosted with the addition of two new Spec Ops modes – Survival and Mission.
