Code for editor and player released under GPL version 2 licence

MIT has open sourced its free educational development tool and programming language Scratch 2.0.

The code has been uploaded to GitHub, and is the basis for the online and offline versions of Scratch.

It has been released under the GPL version 2 licence. The core code for the official version can be found on the official website.

The Scratch team has asked those interested in contributing to Scratch to help develop the tool by identifying bugs and documenting them, or fixing the issues and creating pull requests.

For more information about the open source version of the Scratch 2.0 project editor, visit the GitHub page.
