Moshi Monsters firm working on new titles for mobile and tablet

Mind Candy revenues rose by 62 per cent to £47 million last year after a series of licensing deals helped spur on growth at the company.

As reported by The Financial Times, revenues from licensed products rose from £9.7m to £19.3m. The firm said this meant its Moshi Monsters IP was "the number one licensed property in the UK".

The London studio's games such as Moshling Zoo for the DS also saw an increase in revenue from £3.7m to £7.7m.

The online virtual Moshi Monsters world meanwhile grew significantly from 55m in 2011 to 70m last year. Revenue from subscriptions rose by just over £4m to £19.8m

Operating profits for the company stood at £10 million.

Mind Candy is currently working on a variety of new titles for mobile and tablet set to be released later this year and through 2014 as it looks to expand its games portfolio and the Moshi Monsters IP.
