Issue 91 sent to subscribers and also available online for free

The February issue of Develop has been sent to subscribers and is now available to read online – for free – either as a PDF here (registration required) or in-browser via the Flash-based viewer Issuu.

This month's issue is our yearly recruitment special - and what a time for it. First up, we talk to the UK's leading recruitment agencies to discuss how the jobs market is faring as the economy dives head-first into a recession - and it's not as bad as you'd think.

We also present the results of our 2009 Salary Survey, presenting the UK's average development salary and your views on your future prospects - and we're sure that at least some of the results may surprise you.

If you are looking for a job, you'll be facing two major hurdles: the CV, and the interview. We've got three of the UK's top studios to tell us what they look for in coders, artists and producers, complete with practical advice about structuring your CV and preparing a showreel/demo.

Next up is our 30 Under 30, which takes a look at the up-and-coming young talent in the development industry and, possibly, the stars of tomorrow. If you're a recruiter yourself, we've got a management expert to pinpoint the seven types of people you won't want to hire, unless you want 'spies' or 'chatty Cathies' in your team. His words, not ours, promise.

Not to mention that the issue also features a diary from Zoe Mode on their You're In The Movies promo trip to New York, and our roundtable on Cambridge as a development hub - as well as all of our usual analysis, news, tools news and roundups.
