Issue 87 sent to subscribers and also available online for free

The September issue of Develop, number 87, has been sent to subscribers and is now available to read online - for free - either as a PDF here (registration required) or via the Flash-based Issuu.

With a number of big names in the games development space looking to Asian games studios to compliment and grow their business, this month we turn the spotlight on the emergent games development sectors in the region.

We have in-depth profiles of the India, China and Singapore games scenes, singling out key studios, and also offer snapshots of the working life in Korea and Japan.

The issue also includes an exclusive look at SCEE's new audio tool Sulpha, which like technology gem PhyreEngine is another SCE creation that the company plans to offer to the entire development community - even those making games for PS3 rival the 360.

Elsewhere in the issue we have a special tutorial on graphics postprocessing, exclusively written for us by AMD.

Meanwhile, our Alpha section offers the usual opinion and analysis pieces - including an IP profile of Team 17's Worms - while our Build section features the usual mix of technology news and interviews.

You can get your hands on the latest issue, for free, either as a PDF or via Flash-based Issuu.
