Claims Microsoft and Google offered 'incredible' amounts of cash to secure deal

Intel chief displeased with Nokiasoft deal

Intel CEO Paul Otellini has lashed out at Nokia over its decision to side with Microsoft and adopt its Windows Phone 7 software platform in its future smartphone handsets.

Otellini’s firm is likely annoyed that Nokia’s decision also meant the abandonment of plans to use Intel’s MeeGo platform in its handsets.

It addition, the exec claims that both Microsoft and Google made "incredible" financial offers to secure Nokia’s loyalty.

"I wouldn’t have made the decision he made," the exec told investors.
