The must-attend battle of the game brains is back for September. Who will you send?
September 18th sees the ever-popular Develop Quiz returning, and places are selling fast.
Latest sign-ups include an Indie All-Star team keen to show that they can best the giants of the industry, while numerous studios regular and new to the quiz have already committed to sending staff.
The event, taking place on the evening of September 18th, will see developers from across the UK lock intellectual horns to tackle rounds based on games, film, music, sport, and some rather unusual categories not seen in any other quiz.
Amongst the teams involved are current trophy holders Firefly Studios, as well as Bossa, Creative Assembly, ARM, UKIE, Side, Datascope, OMUK, Creative Personnel and Wave, along with the Indie-All Stars (including Mike Bithell, one of the BumpkinBrothers and staff from Utopian World of Sandwiches). Can you beat them? There's only one way to find out.
It is an immensely fun night increasingly standing as a stalwart of many studios' industry calendars, but the Develop Quiz also serves as one of the UK games industry's most effective networking events, and provides your staff with a chance to let their hair down and engage in some relaxed team building.
And, most importantly, of course, it offers your studio a chance to take home the converted Develop Trophy - one of the game industry's most prestigious gongs. There's also a range of prizes on offer for the highest placed teams.
The cost of entering a team – five-person maximum – is £249, and that includes a free bar and food for all five team members.
The evening will take place on September 18th at the Sway Bar, 61-65 Great Queen Street, Holborn, London.
