Outsourcing firm moves into full development and looks to forge strategic deals

Hyderabad, India-based FXLabs has announced plans to 'co-produce games for the international market' and as such is looking to sign deals with US studios.

The firm said it was looking to work with IP rights holders who were looking to put their game into production, for which 'FXLabs would provide high end development capabilities to build games on these properties'.

Sashi Reddi, founder and chairman of FXLabs said: "We wish to partner with developers in bringing out high end games for the international market. Through this we would like to utilise our capabilities to build world-class games for the international market."

The company employs over 100 artists and game programmers and says it is 'the only game company in India to have been able to develop a complete end-to-end game from its studios in India' and has expertise in a variety of technology including Unreal and Torque.

The company announced its move into outsourcing last month.
