Arjan Brusse leaves studio to 'look for new personal challenge'

The co-founder of Killzone developer Guerrilla Games has quit the company to head up Visceral Games.

Arjan Brusse will join the Dead Space studio as executive produer, and leaves Guerilla after nine years at the company.

In a letter to the Netherlands outfit, as reported by control-online, he said he was leaving to find a new challenge, which he hoped would be at Visceral.

“Every year there was something ambitious, new and inspiring to put my energy into. For me, I now want to find a new personal challenge, which I hope to find at EA HQ near San Francisco, and who knows where this will take me next,” he said.

Brusse has previously held roles at Orange games, which later became Lost Boys, and then eventually Guerrilla after Sony’s acquisition of the Dutch developer.

He has also worked at Epic Games in the mid-90’s as lead programmer on games such as Jazz Jackrabbit.
