Mobile Social Games company to set up shop in the China Basin
The worlds' largest publicly traded mobile social games company will be opening a new studio in the San Francisco China Basin.
GREE, which recorded $1b profits last year and boasts 190 registered users, plans to double the number of US employees.
“We know San Francisco is the best place for us to find the significant industry talent we are searching for," said Naoki Aoyagi, CEO. "We are thrilled to create this unique and comfortable space to illustrate our commitment to both San Francisco, an international hub of this industry, and our employees.”
The press release spoke in grandiose terms of the new accomodations awaiting potential hires.
The 41,000 square foot offices will provide space for a fully stocked kitchen, on-site yoga classes, and "healthy snack and meal options"
