GMA 2012: Last few spaces remain

The biggest names in the UK games press will attend next week’s Games Media Awards

And if you want to mingle with the media, you need to act fast!

Games press from all sectors, including specialist, national newspapers, online, broadcast, lifestyle media and mainstream magazines will be there. They will include representatives from:-

The Games Media Awards take place on Thursday October 18th and return to the super chic Vinopolis, Bankside. Gold Partners supporting the event include Xbox 360, Need For Speed Most Wanted, PlayStation, Wii U, Codemasters Racing, Metal Gear Rising Revengeance and NCsoft.

Russell Kane, winner of the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, will be the host for the evening.

The media are invited to the event for free, but a limited number of trade tickets are available for £150 each.

Deep Silver has signed up as Media Transport Partner, Trion’s Defiance is Pre-Drinks Party Host, Hitman Absolution is hosting the After Show Party and Nordic’s Wii Sing 80s will present the popular rockaoke entertainment during the evening. Far Cry 3 is reception partner. 

Meanwhile Gamescom and Indigo Pearl are event partners, with other sponsors includingGreen Man Gaming (Top Tweeter category), Precise (Coverage by a Mainstream Website), Sega (Games Writer of the Year), Onlive (Games Website) and THQ (Games Blog).
