Canadian comic to present big night for games developers in Brighton next week

Glenn Wool returns to host Develop Awards

Canadian comic Glenn Wool has signed up to host next week’s Develop Industry Excellence Awards 2008.

Wool returns after a popular night has host of last year’s awards.

The event, running on the evening of Wednesday June 30th in Brighton, will see over 500 games industry professionals come together to celebrate the successes of European development in the past 12 months.

A number of studios are in the running for key awards, including SCEE Cambridge, Ninja Theory, Frontier Developments, Crytek, Rockstar North, Kuju’s Doublesix and Zoe Mode, SCEE London Studio, Criterion Games, Splash Damage and Rebellion.

Geomerics, Codemasters, Hansoft, Autodesk, Amiqus and Universally Speaking are sponsors of the event.
