Steve Papoutsis, general manager and vice president of Battlefield Hardline dev Visceral Games, has left the studio.
Papoutsis worked at the company for almost 15 years, helping to develop the Dead Space trilogy and multiple Battlefield titles, including last month’s Hardline.
The departure was first reported by Kotaku, with EA confirming Papoutsis’ exit shortly after.
“We are thankful for Steve’s many contributions to EA and wish him the best,” the publisher said.
Papoutsis will be replaced by Scott Probst, a long-time EA producer and son of EA chairman Larry Probst.
Visceral Games is currently working on downloadable content and expansion packs for Battlefield Hardline, as well as a Star Wars game with Uncharted creative director Amy Hennig at the helm.
