UKTI is inviting British-based games industry professionals to two separate networking opportunities at GDC.
The body is inviting 20 UK games companies to attend three executive-level roundtable sessions, as well as a free-to-attend networking lunch.
Rebellion co-founder Jason Kingsley remarked on previous networking initiatives by UKTI: “I found the lunches were a very useful place to revisit and build on business acquaintances and meet new, high powered individuals in an informal setting for an extended period of time. Getting more than a few minutes with some of these people is difficult at the best of times. Sharing lunch with them is priceless.”
Attending the executive-level roundtables will cost £515.
The roundtable meetings “will be interactive, open and thought provoking and will look at key industry areas such as Game and film collaboration, multiplatform mobile development and augmented reality applications”, UKTI said.
The sessions will be held over GDC week at the British Consulate in San Francisco – close to the Moscone centre.
UKTI is also hosting a free-to-attend event at its Business Suite in the Moscone Centre. The lunchtime event is targeted for UK developers looking to do business in the US.
